Jo is Finnebrogue’s Business Development Director, searching for global food trends that can be translated for UK consumers.

Jo has spent more than thirty years in the food business. She started out as an assistant in her local butcher shortly after leaving school and now is at the heart for some of the most innovative food production anywhere in the world.

Before joining Finnebrogue in 2011, Jo was technical account manager at Anglo Beef Processors and technical and innovation director at VION. From 2013, she has focused purely on new product development, our innovation pipeline and business development.

Jo has launched multi-million pound ranges for some of the UK’s leading retailers, including Marks and Spencer, ASDA and Sainsbury’s and is always seeking to make delicious food the best it can be, without being bound by the way it’s always been done. Most recently, she has been the driving force behind the launches of meat’zzas and slammers in Marks and Spencer.

Jo lives in Shropshire, England – and runs her own food consultancy, Disco-licious.
